Being a union member says something about you. It says you won’t let some boss just push you around. It says you are someone who stands up for what you believe in. It says your time and your labor are worth fighting for. It says you have your co-workers’ back. It says you are not a freeloader – that you put your money and your muscle on the line for what’s right.
If that rubs those in the executive suites, Wall Street and their mouth pieces the wrong way, too bad. Standing up for ourselves is our right, and what good are rights if you don’t exercise them.
